Various pics from along the way…
it took us three nights to get to Wurzburg, as we followed the meandering Main the entire way. Weather continued to hold, campsites and beer stops were easy to find. The only nasty bit was my front shifter deciding to be finicky. At times, it would allow me to shift to a higher chain ring, but locked there and wouldn’t let me back down to a lower gear. As hills were small and far between, this wasn’t a huge issue, but as it took me releasing the cable to reset the shifter, something is going to have to be done about this. But first, we have to make a dent in the 24 beer Scott bought at the campsite.
